An awareness programme on Coronavirus (COVID-19) was held inside the Assembly on Friday, where Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro, the Deputy Speaker, Cabinet Ministers, Government Chief Whip, Congress Legislature Party Leader Narasingha Mishra and MLAs werepresent.
Patro stressed on wide awareness on Coronavirus to stay safe. Health Minister Naba Das told how his department was ready to face the crisis. The Chief Secretary and Health Secretary among others also spoke.
Later, the CM and other dignitaries washed hands with soaps to send a message on maintaining personal hygiene.
