A cleanliness drive under the Swachchh Bharat Mission was launched in the premises of the office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Odisha here on the occasion of the Gandhi Jayanti on Thursday.
Principal Accountant General Gargi Kaul administered oaths to around 2,000 officers and employees to keep the premises clean on this occasion. Among others, Principal Accountant General Sunil Srikrushna Dadhe, Accountant General Amar Patnaik, Deputy Accountant General SR Dhupe and laxmi Narasingham took oaths.
Kaul and Dadhe announced that those officers and employees who would show good performance in keeping their offices clean would be awarded. A similar drive was also taken up in its Puri branch office.
