The Narayanpatna police and the BSF on Tuesday recovered a claymore mine and a country-made gun during a search operation in a jungle in Narayanpatna of Koraput district.
Narayanpatna PS Inspector-in-Charge Piyush Ranjan Chhotray said the local police and jawans of 28 Battalion of the BSF found the country-made gun and claymore mine along with Maoist literature from Kilua forest under Kumbhari panchayat in Narayanpatna block.
However, nobody was arrested from the spot, Chhotray said.
