Evaluation of the Plus II examination answer sheets commenced offline on Monday.
As many as 11,000 teachers have been assigned to evaluate the answer sheets of Arts stream at 64 evaluation centres. Later, answer sheets of vocational course would be evaluated.
The evaluation process began only in 17 centres on Monday. Evaluation would begin in other centres in upcoming days, informed the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE).
In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, thermal screening of evaluators and sanitisation of evaluation centres have been made mandatory as part of precautionary measure before the evaluation process begins at the allotted centres.
The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education has asked for evaluation between 10 am and 5 pm.
Earlier, the evaluation of answer sheets had been hindered due to the lockdown.
Meanwhile, the admission in all the government, government aided, non-aided schools and all types of educational institutions including madrasas and Sanskrit tolls under the School & Mass Education Department began on Monday. The enrolment is being made from 7 am to 9.30 am every day.
