A Class IX girl student of Angul High School allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan using her scarf in her house on Friday afternoon. The deceased, identified as Rajnandini Moharana, took the extreme step after returning from the school in the afternoon, sources said. A suicidal note was recovered from the spot. It was alleged by the father of the deceased girl that she committed suicide after the teachers scolded her in school. As the news spread the district BJP Mahila Morcha staged demonstration in front of the school demanding action against the accused teachers. Meanwhile, the Angul police started investigation while the district Collector informed that action would be taken against teachers if they were found responsible for the mishap.
