One Kumari Padmamina Paltasingh of the Nayapalli area was arrested by Vigilance sleuths on Friday for impersonating as a dealing assistant in the Higher Education Department and taking bribe in connection with a scholarship issue. Paltasingh was receiving Rs 4,000 from complainant Satyajit Sahu, an MPhil student of Utkal University for sanction of scholarship under the Medha Bruti Scheme when she was caught by the Vigilance officials near the Jayadev Vihar bus stop.
