The Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Metro organised a workshop on polio immunisation here on Sunday. National Polio Plus Committee (NPPC) member Rotarian DN Padhi inaugurated it.
Workshop chairman Rotarian Abasara Beuria, Rotary Metro Club president Rotarian MC Padhi and Rotary Governor Rotarian Rabinarayan Nanda graced the occasion as guests. Rotarian Debasis Panigrahi narrated the steps taken by the Rotary Club for eradication of polio.
Dr Debasis Ray from the World Health Assembly (WHA), Health and Family Welfare Department additional secretary Biswajit Das Mohapatra, UNO representative Umi Bey and Health and Family Welfare Department Director Nirmala Dei spoke. 120 Rotarians of different Rotary Clubs attended.
