The Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage celebrated its installation ceremony here recently in which Bhubaneswar Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) Sarat Kumar Dash attended as chief guest.
For the year 2018-19, Rotarian Bishnu Mohan Mohanty took the charge as the president and Rotarian Basanta Kumar Sahoo as secretary of the club. Mohanty informed that the Rotary work for the community service projects would be continued in more numbers and they would be extended to the needy people.
On the occasion, five new club members were inducted including Sarat Kumar Dash. Among others, Rotarians Rabinarayan Nanda, chartered president Debabrata Panigrahi and past president Santanu Kumar Mishra were present.
On the day, the club held a plantation drive at the Royal Public School campus at Kesura and distributed food to 150 tribal children of the Simadri Mishra Janajati Chhatrabas in Mancheswar here.
