The Rotary Club Bhubaneswar Centennial organised its 15th installation day here on the Independence Day on Wednesday.
Rotarian PDG Ashok Bihari Mohapatra inaugurated the event. DGM Rotarian Soumyaranjan Mishra and AG Rotarian Sushant Mohapatra presented reports. Former president Rotarian Shubhakant Padhi handed over charges to newly-elected president Shubhakant Samantsinghar.
The Rotary Club Bhubaneswar Centennial has oranised many social programmes lake plantation for environment protection, blood donation camps and awareness programmes against use of plastics. The club has planned to instal street lights in Jagannathpur village and solar panels on hospital roofs for supply of uninterrupted power, to supply benches and desks to schools and to hold various health camps this year, said secretary Rotarian Shishir Mohapatra.
PGD Shibabrat Das, Rabi Nanda, incumbent governor Rotarian Bhabani Choudhury and coming year’s governor Debashish Mishra, Sakyasingh Sarangi, BK Pattajoshi, Ramesh Sahoo, Prakash Prusthi and Ajit Padhi coordinated the programme. All members took oath to work for the society uninterruptedly.
