Team member Mamta Nayak shared the activities of club like enrolment campaign, dengue awareness and enrolment of dropout and child domestic workers in Government schools, etc. K Siva Rao, Arpita Barik and Suchsmita Behra spoke on child marriage and spreading awareness on right to education in slum pockets.
The club members also shred woes like school toilet, hygiene, drinking water, electricity, vacancy of subject wise teacher, playing facilities and also demanded inclusion of 9th and 10th in the RTE Act.
Programme manager of Action aid Ghasiram Panda shared objective of the visit. Among others, Action aid officials Sudatta Khuntia, Puspshree Devi, CCWD secretary Sadasiv Swain, community leaders, SMC members and headmistresses attended.
