City Congress meet focuses on winning UlB elections

Bhubaneswar District Congress Committee held a meeting of its party workers and office bearers here on Wednesday in view of the forthcoming Urban local Body (UlB) polls.

As per the direction of All India Congress Committee (AICC) vice president Rahul Gandhi, Bhubaneswar District Congress Committee (DCC) organised the meeting for winning maximum votes.

Presided over by Bhubaneswar DCC president (in-charge) Suvendu Mohanty, the meeting resolved to give priority on rehabilitation of the slum dwellers, electrification of slums and other areas in the capital city, regularization of the sewerage systems, sorting out drinking water problem, proper utilisation of Central grants, besides taking an oath by the party men to stay united in UlB, Assembly and Parliament elections. Many senior leaders participated.
