Due to the one-year delay in publication of results and irregularities in evaluation of answer sheets by the Berhampur University, it is alleged that in the academic year 2015-16, the students who appeared in the Plus Three and TDS examinations secured low marks.
Besides, the hike in fee from `50 to `100 for revaluation has been opposed by the students. The students on Thursday locked the gates of the City College and held a dharna demanding fulfillment of their five point charter of demands. Earlier, the students had met the authorities but as their demands were not met they sported black badges. Student leader Sunil lenka warned that if their demands are not met, they would intensify their agitation.
