The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Odisha branch organised an interaction meeting with Canada High Commissioner Stewart Beck here on Tuesday.
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Odisha chairman MK Gupta, who welcomed Beck, emphasised on improving trade relations between India and Canada for development of the State.
Beck in his address laid emphasis on food security, education, energy, security and financing infrastructure. He broadly explained how Canada can become a partner in these areas.
After Beck delivered his address, members of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Odisha State Council including Radiant Telesystems MD JB Pany, Nalco AGM (Environment) Jiban Mahapatra, RSB Metaltech director (Technology) Prof Omkar Nath Mohanty, JSS IT Solutions chairman Bijoy Kumar Sahoo, Sukhmaya Hotels proprietor Debasish Patnaik and Sigma Engineering CEO Sashi Sekhar Samal shared their views and ideas on the subjects.
