The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) State Council in association with the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) organised a seminar for entrepreneurs and startups in the State here on Wednesday to explore business opportunities in the United Kingdom.
UK Trade and Investment Adviser Sandip Chaudhuri highlighted some areas where the UK provides excellent business opportunities to Indian companies. He also apprised about the services that the UKTI provides to companies setting up offices in the UK.
The seminar aimed at disseminating knowledge on the UK’s potential and generating interaction between the representatives from the UK Missions towards resolution of queries on business and investment policies.
The event included presentations on trade and investment opportunities in sectors like manufacturing, infrastructure, agriculture and allied services, pharmaceutical and healthcare, consumer goods and IT services.
Among others, CII Odisha, IT panel convener BK Sahoo and infrastructure panel convener Tapan Mohanty were present.
