The scientists from the ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubaneswar have jumped to the fray epitomising their selfless service to the nation during the struggle against Covid 19 pandemic.
They are deputed phase-wise for analysing the clinical samples collected from Covid suspected patients employing RT-PCR technique at prestigious R and D organization of ICAR, International Centre for Foot and Mouth Disease (ICFMD), Jatani, Bhubaneswar.
Dr PK Sahoo, Dr J Mohanty, Dr Ashish Saha and Dr Mrinal Samanta in first phase (May 15-30), Mohan Bade, Kiran Rasal in second phase ( July 01-18 July) followed by Anirban Paul, Uday Udit and Satya Narayan Sahoo in third phase (from July 21) have been deputed for Covid-19RT-PCR testing. Dr Mrinal Samanta is coordinating the programme from ICAR-CIFA.
