The Kendrapara Town police on Tuesday evening arrested Shekhar Sandha, the branch manager of chit fund firm RDPl landmark Infrastructure Private ltd at Tinimuhani Market in Kendrapada district for duping investors of crores of rupees by luring them on the pretext of doubling their money within a short period of their investment.
Sandha, a resident of Nischantakoili along with other associates allegedly duped more than 300 gullible investors of crores of rupees. The chit fund firm has allegedly been operating for more than three years.
Acting on an FIR lodged by an investor, the Kendrapada Town police registered a case against Sandha and his other associates and arrested him. Inquiry in on, IIC Pramod lenka.
