A delegation of four academicians from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), China came on a four-day tour visit to the IIT Bhubaneswar on Tuesday to take part in a joint workshop on “Current Trends in Solidification Processing and Technology”.
Delegates from different academic institutes of the country would also attend the workshop. They would deliberate on the recent developments in the field of solidification science and processing and technical challenges faced by the community in the 21st century.
The IIT Bhubaneswar exchanged another MoU with the SJTU on the day to expand the domain of cooperation between them.
In the absence of Director Prof RV Raja Kumar, Prof RK Panda presided over the MoU signing ceremony. The delegation included Prof Jianguo li, Prof Mingxu Xia, Prof Qiaodan Hu and Dr Wenquan lu.
