The Childline, Koraput organised a sensitisation programme on ‘Childline-1098, its functioning and activities in Koraput’ for the district’s mediapersons at the Press Club here.
Journalists of different media house along with District Child Protection Officer Rajashree Das and Childline Koraput director Sanjit Patnayak and Bhawani Shankar Mishra shared their experiences on how they visualise children in the coming days.
The media personnel expressed their gratitude to Childline Koraput and allied structures like CWC and DCPU for their wide outreach to all corner of the district and thanked for sensitising them on some of the moral responsibilities of media with respect to rights and protection of children.
They extended all possible supports to Childline Koraput in spreading awareness in the region.
