Chief Secretary GC Pati on Thursday personally inspected different projects being undertaken by various departments and agencies for the ensuing Nabakalebar festival in Puri in July. Pati accompanied by railway officials, Energy Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Central) Bikash Mohapata, Puri Collector Arabinda Agrawal travelled from Satyabadi to Malatipatpur in train to took stock of the progress of doubling of railway tracks.
The top bureaucrat also visited the under construction temporary bus terminal at Malatipatpur and also reviewed the progress of drainage work in Puri city. It was also revealed during the visit of the Chief Secretary that a foot over bridge will be erected over National Highway-203 connecting Malatipatpur railway station to the new bus terminus.
