Chief Postmaster General, Odisha Circle Dr Santosh Kumar Kamila urged upon all Postmen to act as a sales force of all postal products while addressing a postal officials’ conference here on Wednesday.
Kamila too asked all Postmasters to meet the demands and expectations of customers with good dealing and behaviour. He too asked them to give focus on new services like Aadhar linking, passport service and POS in PO counters.
Postmasters, Business Executives, System Administrators, Postmen, O/S mails and sub-divisional heads under the Baleswar Postal Division attended the conference.
He distributed awards to staff for excellence in service and trophy to DAV school students for letter writing competition.
The Chief PMG had graced an interface-cum-awareness programme held amongst Kamarda villagers on Tuesday. More than 100 villagers ventilated their grievances and suggestions.
Baleswar Division Superintendent of Posts Priyanath Patnaik presided both the meetings.
