Jalada Kumar Tripathy took oath as the new State Chief Information Commissioner on Tuesday. Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal administered the oath of office to him at the Raj Bhavan.
Information and Public Relations Principal Secretary Bishnupada Sethi read out the warrant of appointment of Tripathy. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik joined the function through videoconferencing. Chief Secretary Suresh Mahapatra, Development Commissioner Pradeep Jena, Principal Secretary to Governor Saswat Mishra, family members of the State Chief Information Commissioner and Director, I and PR Indramani Tripathy were present.
