The Chhatra Congress on Tuesday extended its support to the agitation of students of the Biju Patnaik College of Arts and Science here.
Students of the college staged a three-hour demonstration outside the college main gate demanding immediate action against the two Lecturers who misbehaved with girl students. They also demanded solution of their problems relating to toilet, canteen, cycle and bike stand, drinking water facilities besides holding sports and cultural events, annual function, etc.
They threatened to draw attention of the authorities in Government unless their demands are met.
Chhatra Congress State president Yasheer Nawaj urged the authorities to solve students’ issues or else the agitation would continue.
