In continuation of Tuesday’s Rath Yatra, Lord Jagannath’s Nandighos chariot and Devi Subhadra’s Darpadalan chariot reached Saradha Bali in front of the Gundicha Temple here on Wednesday while the Taladhwaj chariot of Lord Balabhadra had reached there on Tuesday evening.
The deities will remain on the chariots for the time being and will be taken to the Adap Mandap of the Gundicha Temple in Pahandi ritual on Thursday evening.
Earlier on Wednesday morning, Nandighos and Darpadalan were pulled by devotees as the chariots had been halted at Galagandi and Badasankha, respectively, on Tuesday evening.
The pilgrim town is set to witness a huge influx of devotees on Wednesday and Thursday for darshan of the deities on the chariots.
