The chariot construction work here is going on in full swing ahead of the Rath Yatra, which is very famous festival in south Odisha.
The work was started from the Akshaya Tritiya. Chief carpenter Biswanath Maharana said, “like last year, we are making three chariots this year and trying to complete the work before time.” The district administration and the car festival committee have provided all assistance for the work, he added.
