It has come to the notice of the management of Care Hospitals that some people are trying to malign the name of Care Hospitals, Bhubaneswar by spreading news on doing illegal kidney transplantation and Pakistani allegiance which is completely baseless, false and fictitious, said a release by the Care Hospitals on Wednesday.
Care Hospitals Bhubaneswar is in process of obtaining a kidney transplantation licence; and till date, not a single transplant has been performed in the hospital. Thee Care Hospitals management is aware that that some unscrupulous people are trying to tarnish the image of the hospital.
Health Minister Naba Kishore Das on Wednesday ordered a probe into the alleged ownership transfer of the Care Hospitals hours after Opposition BJP and Congress members raised the issue in the State Assembly.
“An inquiry is underway following allegations by Opposition against the hospital and a team of Health Department officials has conducted a raid in the hospital today,” said the Minister outside the Assembly.
