Guardians of students studying at the Satya Mahima Sanskrit Vidyapeetha at Khariar under Bongomunda block in Balangir district have urged the district Collector to shift the examination centre for candidates going to appear the HSC Madhyama Board examination from February 24 to March 12.
In a petition to the district Collector, the guardians specified that the examination centre allotted for the student is almost 65km away from the school. It would be a burden for both the candidates and guardians. It would be convenient if the centre is shifted from the present Ramai High School, Patnagarh to the Chamar Meher High School, Bongomunda or the Girls’ High School there.
“Earlier we had submitted a petition to the Kantabanji MlA, the Education Minister and the Board authority in this regard, but nothing was done” said a guardian
