Chandbali BJD MLA Byomakesh Ray tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday. His condition was stable.
Ray informed this on Twitter.
Ray urged all people who came in contact with him to isolate themselves and get their samples tested soon.
Notably, about a dozen of BJD MLAs have tested positive for the virus and most of them have recovered. On Sunday, Badamba MLA Debi Prasad Mishra had tested positive.
Meanwhile, Chandbali Tehsildar Sushant Sutar has also tested positive for the virus. His condition was stable, informed the Bhadrak district administration.
Sutar first complained of sickness on August 29, following which his swab sample was collected for Covid test. He was earlier engaged in flood-related relief work in the area.
