A review meeting of various projects was held by the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) in the DRDA conference hall here on Wednesday.
Presiding over the meeting, WODC Chairman Kishore Kumar Mohanty inquired about the progress of various projects undertaken with WODC fund in five blocks and three municipal areas of the district. Initially, review of projects was done for lakhanpur block with Belpahar, Brajrajnagar and Jharsuguda municipal areas including Kolabira, laikera and Kirmira blocks.
Mohanty directed the departmental officers to complete the haphazard projects in a time-bound manner utilising the funds properly.
The meeting was attended by Brajrajnagar MlA Radharani Panda, State lift Irrigation Corporation Chairman Anup Sai, District Collector Parameswaran B, WODC Chief Executive Officer Premananda Seth and officials of various departments.
