After the lifting of lockdown restrictions, looters and chain and mobile snatchers are on the prowl in the capital city and police are struggling to curb the spiralling cases.
On Wednesday at around 4:30 pm, a woman was on her way from the Sainik School from Acharya VIhar by her scooter, when two bike-borne miscreants on a motorcycle came from behind and snatched the woman’s gold chain near the Apollo Hospital.
In the scuffle, woman lost control over her vehicle and fell down on road. She sustained injuries and was admitted to a hospital. Later, the victim lodged a complaint with Saheed Nagar police.
