Ahead of the Dusshera the Central Electricity Supply Utility (Cesu) has urged all the Puja Committees to take legal electricity connections to the Mandaps for a safe and reliable power supply on a temporary basis.
The utility has requested the puja committees to contact their local electrical Section and Sub-Division offices for temporary connection. Further, committee members were requested to use lED and energy saving lights to reduce their electricity consumption during this period.
To ensure smooth and hassle free power supply during Puja season, the Cesu has already started pre maintenance of lines and sub-stations at different areas while various essential materials like fuse wire, kitkat and other equipments have already been released to field units.
