The Vigilance police on Wednesday searched various locations after receiving complaint of possession of disproportionate assets against Cesu Electrical Division, Jobra Manager Swadhin Kumar Gouda and found his assets to be worth Rs 1,02,30,490.
A simultaneous search was held at his residential house at laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar, paternal house at Khambeswaripatna, Aska, Ganjam, father-in-law’s house at Bolangir town, residential house of his brother at Kapilaprasad, Bhubaneswar and office room at Jobra, Cuttack.
The assets include a duplex building at Bairaginagar Canal Road, laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar of Rs 64,91,206, gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 5,52,040, household articles worth Rs 11,74,847, Hyundai i10 car worth Rs 5 lakh, Tata Indica Car of Rs 6 lakh, investment in lICs of Rs 6,17,975 and deposits in different banks of Rs 1,54,422, etc.
Gouda started his service career as a management trainee in 2002 at monthly remuneration of Rs 8,000 till 2005. On November 11, 2005, his service was confirmed as Assistant Manager at PED, Puri. He was
promoted to the rank of Deputy Manager on February 2, 2010 and then to the rank of Manager since March 3, 2014.
