Dr Raju emphasised on skill development as an integral part of the curriculum and hoped that this Central University would produce socially responsible citizens.
Prof Reddy described the nature of modern education as “problem solving education” and opined that education should pass through stages of information and knowledge and enable transformation. In this context, he mentioned stalwarts like Goethe and Alfred Knaughthead.
On this occasion, a guesthouse and a boys’ hostel of the university were inaugurated by Dr Raju. A permanent campus of the university is coming up at Sunabeda.
