The District Vigilance and Monitoring Committee held a meeting on Wednesday to review the execution of various Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) in Nabarangpur district.MP Balabhadra Majhi, who is also the Chairman
of the committee, presided over the meeting in the presence of district Collector Rashmita Panda, Dabugam MlA Bhujabala Majhi and Zilla Parisad President Motiram Nayak.DRDA PD Purandhar Dharua gave a detailed account of the physical and financial achievements during the current year under various Centrally Sponsored Schemes and programmes launched in the district.
Discussion on various schemes and programmes including the MGNREGA, IAY, NRlMP, BRGF, PMGSY, IWMP, SC and ST Development Department programmes, etc, were held.
MP Majhi urged upon the officers to work with a coordinated approach, undertake regular touring and ensure close monitoring to achieve quality parameters and effective implementation of the schemes.
