The two-day-long 9th biennial conference of the All India Central Government Canteen Employees’ and Workers’ Association, one of the biggest Central Government employees associations, ended here on Sunday.
The association members demanded that the Union Government ensure scale of pay, employment policy and gradation system to them like other Central Government employees.
MlA Prafulla Samal graced the occasion as the chief guest while senior advocate of Odisha High Court Kailash Kanungo and Central Government Employees’ Coordination Committee president Mohini Mohan Samal attended as the guests of honour.
Among others, association president Siddharth Jadav, secretary general Jogesh Chandra Nayak and as many as 300 members of 25 States were present.
