The Supreme Court-appointed Central Empowered Committee’s (CEC) report on the mining scam in Odisha has unmasked the real image of the Naveen Patnaik Government, said BJP State spokesperson Sajjan Sharma on Saturday.
Sharma said the BJD Government looted the State by allowing the Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) and other companies for mining between 2001 and 2011 without proper clearances from the Union Ministry of Environment and Forests and the Mining department. According to the CEC report, Sharma said, most of the Government officials of concerned departments from top to bottom were involved in the looting.
