The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday produced two directors of the Magnum chit fund company in a CBI Special Court here and, after grant of permission, took them on a four-day remand.
The Central investigating agency had arrested the two directors of the company from lucknow on Thursday and brought them here on a transit remand.
The arrested directors have been identified as Arun Chaturvedi and Barun Chaturvedi.
It is alleged that the company has duped thousands of gullible investors of the
State of crores of rupees promising them to double their investments.
