A joint team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials of Bhubaneswar ad Ranchi conducted raids on the houses of Seas Shore chit fund company CMD Prashant Dash and a former woman director here on Thursday.
While the residence of the Prashant Dash was searched at laxmisgar the Central investigating agency officials raided the house of the woman director at Palasuni here, sources said. Dash is now lodged at the Jharpada Special Jail.
Sources said the raid was conducted in connection with a fraud occurred in Ranchi. The company has allegedly duped lakhs of depositors of about Rs 3,000 crore, sources said.
