A three-member team of the CBI reached the Jamindar Palace here on Thursday and started investigation into the sensational triple murder incident here nearly two years ago.
Notably, one Ankita Bansal and her son Divyanshu (4) and daughter Vani (7) were found dead in a room at the palace on December 14, 2013. Bansal’s husband Amit Agarwal, a resident of Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, accompanied by the trio had booked the room at the palace on December 9, 2013. Preliminary investigation revealed that the trio were drugged and later strangulated to death. Agarwal, who is said to be the main suspect in the crime, is missing after the incident.
