The CBI on Thursday grilled Indu Diwan, one of the directors of Mumbai-based company Prism
Heights Films and Entertainment Private limited and her husband Vikram Diwan at its office here in connection with their alleged link with chit fund firm Artha Tatwa Group and its chief Pradeep Sethy.
Sources said Indu is the sister of Mumbai-based model Preeti Bhatia, who was earlier arrested by the CBI in connection with the AT Group.
Indu was the director of the Prism Heights production house owned by her sister Preeti, added the sources.
The CBI asked several questions to the couple about their business with the AT Group during its four-hour-long interrogation.
On December 11 last year, the Odisha High Court had allowed the CBI time to submit its case diary against Indu while adjudicating on her anticipatory bail plea.
The anticipatory bail plea of Indu was heard in the court of Justice Sangam Kumar Sahu.
According to the proceedings of the case, Indu had joined hands with Sethy and Bhatia to form the film production company in Mumbai.
Earlier, the CBI had interrogated Preeti for her alleged links with the chit fund firm. The CBI had mentioned in its charge sheet that Rs1, 17, 83,000 was diverted to Preeti’s accounts from the AT Group.
