A caste and dowry-free marriage was solemnised at Bhubaneswar Club on Sunday being conducted by Arya Samaj, Odisha.The objective was to popularise concept of marriages where birth history, dowry and caste are not considered.
The marriage of an IIM Kozhikode MBA PG student, Vedprakash Jnaneswar, and his bride Umang Johri was conducted with Vedic rituals by Pandit Birendra Kumar Panda and Pandit Binod Bihary Das.
