A sensitisation programme was held for school and college students at the Annapurna Theatre in Puri.
Organised by “SUDHA”, the aim of the programme is organising the youths towards the cause of elderly persons to build and strengthen inter-generational relationship and to sensitize the students and create love, affection and respect towards the elderly persons.
On the occasion, a host of events like debate, essay writing, painting, fancy dress, poetry, songs, Odissi and drama were held. Chief guest Prof Adutya Charana Dhala said that this type of senstisation programme will bring revolutionary change among the children.
Educationists and resource persons such as Dr Charubala Dash, Subasani Dhala, Sibasundar Mishra, Ganeswar Praharaj, Sanghamitra Jenaa and Heraram Krushna Jena spoke. Successful candidates in different competitions were distributed prizes.
