A three-day capacity building programme of secondary level teachers of science under the aegis of Regional Training Centre, DAV Institutions, Odisha Zone has conclude at the DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar here. Total 47 science teachers of 15 DAV Schools of the zone participated in the programme.
Principal Bipin Kumar Sahoo chaired the inaugural meeting and Principal of DAV, Nimapara, MM Haque and Principal of DAV, Jajpur Town, Debabrata Pradhan assessed the participants.
Resource persons Dr Pragnya Nopani, ounder of BVN-IAPT, Avensika, and Himansu Sekhar Satapathy of Regional Science Centre, Bhubaneswar discussed how a conducive learning environment can be created inside classrooms for effective teaching of science.
The teacher trainees highlighted different scientific concepts like electrical circuit, Mandellian theory, Pascal’s theory through various activities. The resource persons also talked about different play way and fun-filled methods to teach science to the students.
