The Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) in association with the Marwadi Yuva Manch organised a cancer screening and complete health checkup camp at the UCCI premises here on Tuesday wherein 110 UCCI members including their spouses got their medical test done free of cost. This was a service extended jointly in association with Sunshine Hospital, Bhubaneswar.
The national convener and the State convener of Marwadi Yuva Manch have been spearheading this project for spreading health awareness and timely detection of any trace of cancer. This activity is centred around the makeshift Volvo Bus ambulance that is equipped with all equipments and testing machinery required for a complete oncological screening.
UCCI vice-president Ashok Kumar Sharda thanked the Marwadi Yuva Manch for the cancer screening effectively. The Marwadi Yuva Manch pledged to conduct more such camps across the State.
