In a surprising move, the Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD) president Sanjay Dasburma and Biju Chhatra Janata Dal president (BCJD) Byomkesh Ray were shunted out by party supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

While Amaresh Patri has been appointed as the president of BYJD, Rana Pratap Patra was appointed the BCJD president. BJD vice president and spokesperson Suryanarayan Patro at a Press conference here on Friday announced the names of the office-bearers.

Sisir Parija and Harishankar Rout were appointed as secretary general for BYJD and BCJD respectively. “The party supremo has appointed Chinmaya Sahoo as the advisor to BCJD and four persons including MlA Byomkesh Ray have been appointed as BYJD advisors”, Patra said.

Similarly, Sanjeet Mohanty has been appointed as the working president of BYJD and Debi Ranjan Tripathy as BCJD’s working president.
