Helper of a Kolkata-bound tourist bus was killed and the driver was injured as the bus hit another bus from the rear on NH-5 at Panpana under Baleswar district’s Kantapara police station on Monday morning.
The driver was admitted in the District Headquarters Hospital here. The identity of deceased was yet to be established. The bus was carrying tourists from Maharashtra and returning from Puri. The bus, which was hit from behind, was on its way from Bhubaneswar to Devkund carrying picnickers. The passengers of both the buses were unhurt, barring a few suffering minor injuries.
