A private bus on its way from Bhubaneswar to Cuttack caught fire following a mishap on Saturday. luckily, all the passengers had a miraculous escape. Sources said the bus caught fire after it hit a motorcycle on the Cuttack- Bhubaneswar National Highway under the Sadar police station.
However, all the 30 passengers in the bus managed to have a providential escape.
Sources said, the biker has sustained minor injuries in the mishap while all the bus passengers are reportedly safe.
Police said the private bus ‘Nisha’ has been completely gutted in the fire despite efforts by the Fire Brigade personnel to douse the flames. The driver and helper fled from the spot after the incident.
