Author and former State MSME Secretary Panchanan Dash’s first memoir book From Goatherd To Governance was released on April 16 here by Odia poet Jnanpith awardee Padma Bibhushan Sitakant Mahapatra.
Among others, former Secretary Union Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Dr Ramesh Chandra Panda, Secretary Union Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Satya Narayan Dash, poet and Income Tax Commissioner Sarat Kumar Dash and eminent entrepreneur Himanshu Das were present.
Unveiling the book chief guest Mahapatra said, “It’s not an easy task to write autobiography or memoir. The biggest challenge is to tell the truth, especially the bitter truth. The more you are truthful to your writing the more acceptances will be there waiting for the book.”
Organised by well-known publication house PEN IN Books, the event witnessed a huge gathering of eminent figures, who spoke about the author and the book. Entrepreneurs like HN Mohapatra, G Mohanty, JK Rath, Ajaya Das and Mr. Balaji from Visakhapatna also shared their experience. Author and director of PEN IN Books Subhransu Pan delivered the welcome address.
