An Assembly Standing Committee relating to the General Administration and Public Grievance Department has emphasised on construction of helipads in areas inaccessible by motor vehicles for landing of helicopters in times of natural calamities.
The panel headed by MlA RC Chyaupatnaik asked for instructing all departments to submit requisition in time to PSC, SSC and OSSC in January every year for recruitment of various categories of personnel.
The panel recommended that an anti-encroachment measure, ‘land Protection Force’, be deployed on regular basis to prevent encroachment of Government lands.
Keeping in view the increasing demand for Government accommodation different types of quarters in nearby areas of the Government offices be constructed to cater to need of Government employees, recommended the panel.
The committee suggested that the existing criteria of the CMRF for availing assistance under the Harishchandra Sahayata Yojana be deleted to prevent deprivation of the needy persons from availing the aid.
