The associations of advocates and mohurirs opposing the cashless transactions staged a demonstration in the Sub-Registrar office here on Tuesday.
They alleged that for every small thing, they have to run to banks, for which they are experiencing delays and difficulties. People coming from far-off places for obtaining ECs, certified copies, valuation certificates, etc., are facing harassment.
They also alleged that on one hand they have to stand in queues in banks for deposits and on the other hand power failure and system problems in the Sub-Registrar office aggravate the problems.
The associations have threatened to intensify their agitation if their issues are not addressed at the earliest.
