Several investors of Eshore Developers, a chit fund company operating in north Baleswar, alleged that they have been duped by the company and demanded immediate refund of their money and action against the firm.
The company had collected money with assurance of doubling of the principal amount in four years and regular dividends in higher rates. “Alluring under the scheme the company has siphoned lakhs of rupees from the small time investors,” alleged locals.
The investors alleged the company’s offices are closed since long and neither the agents nor the office assistants are attending their phone calls. Some of the investors in Baliapal, Bijay Dutta, Kalyani Dutta, Saraswati Barik, Jayanta Sethi and Dhiren Behera, fear that their hard-earned money is lost. The company was operating having its registered office in Sahadevkhunta and was active mainly in Baliapal, Basta, Jaleswar and Bhograi.
